01 How to delete your account
You have two ways to request deletion. We recommend doing it from the app — it's instant and verifies your identity automatically.
Method A — From the app (recommended)
Open Splittier → Profile → Settings → Delete Account → confirm.
Method B — Without the app (if uninstalled)
Send an email to [email protected] from the address registered on your account with the subject:
Delete my account
We process the request within 30 days.
02 What data we delete
| Personal identifiers | Name, avatar, phone number and email (anonymized to anonymous-{id}@anonymous.com) |
| Receipts | Receipt images uploaded for OCR |
| Notifications | Push tokens (FCM, APNs) and Live Activities |
| Settings | Preferences, configuration and usage data |
3.1 What we don't store
For your peace of mind, Splittier never stores the following:
| Your contact list | Only checked one-time against our database to detect which of your contacts already use Splittier; it is not stored on our servers. |
| AI chat history or voice transcripts | Conversations with the AI assistant are not saved after the session ends. |
03 What data we retain and why
| Shared bills and settlements | Anonymized — to preserve the historical integrity of groups where other users remain active. |
| Payment transaction records | Up to 7 years — legal and tax obligation. |
| Security and access logs | Up to 24 months — fraud prevention. |
04 Processing time
We process all requests within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Deletions performed from the app are processed instantly.
